Life under communist horror
...and in case you
needed any further proof of the life-sucking terrors of this diseased
ideology, I thoroughly recommend this
excellent article by Anthony Daniels about North Korea (you know,
that nice country those evil americans are so rude about);
George Orwell's
Nineteen Eighty-Four is to North Korea as Paradise is to Hell, and Winston
Smith is a free man by comparison with a North Korean. As for Big Brother,
he is a weakly liberal by comparison with the Dear Leader and his fat
filial successor, the Dear Leader. No mere theocracy ever demanded veneration
of a deity to compare with that offered up routinely to the two Kims
by a terrorised population.
Anyone who has
been to North Korea will never forget the evil he encountered there:
except, perhaps, for the former US President Jimmy Carter, who managed
to see in Pyongyang a second Manhattan. This was not blindness, it was
hallucination.

Everyone in North
Korea must wear a badge bearing the Leader's picture, and every room
must display a portrait of him. Political propaganda is as inescapable
in North Korea as the air you breathe, and has been for more than half
a century. Loudspeakers allow you no peace: it is like being cornered
by the pub bore forever, without any opportunity to shut him up, leave
the pub or answer him back. After a few days, you feel that you are
going mad: no wonder everyone looks numb, zombified. The blank expressions
of people in North Korea is almost as terrifying as their orchestrated
expressions, as when they have been told to smile or wave on special
occasions decreed by the regime.

experienced North Korea can for an instant doubt the regime's utter
ruthlessness, its imperviousness to the faintest considerations of humanity.
It counts the lives of its own people no higher than those of ants.
I wonder when all
the world's endlessly whinging, stupid worthless lefty asshole losers
will stop squealing their pathetic heads off about the americans and actually
concentrate on countries which really are evil, psychotic nations. I won't
hold my breath though. You can bet the snivelling peacenick crowd - the
same filthy scum who applaud the murderous Fidel Castro - will howl with
outrage at any attempts to end the reign of the North Korean despots.
It's the same mental
virus that polluted every half-wit in the cold war, who didn't see fit
to criticise Uncle Joe Stalin while he slaughtered millions, who turned
a blind eye to Pol Pot because he was "for the peasants". The
price to pay for socialist principles is heavy, and the North Koreans
are more aware of it than anybody.
I've said it before:
if there's an afterlife then the tyrant-tolerant, hate-america crowd will
be sitting in the same corner of hell as Dr. Joseph Mengele.

is definitely bad. Otherwise that one sentence contains everything you
need to know about Mr.Monbiot. He is a jealous, begruding loser who
