Whacking Permalink Archive 23-8-02 Watched the DVD of Black Hawk Down on my home cinema giant-screen thingy tonight. Spectacular as a stand-alone action movie, a huge let-down as a cinematic telling of an amazing story. Non-existent
screenplay, woeful inaccuracies, sloppy direction. Like the film of The
Perfect Storm, they made a great true story feel like stock Hollywood
fiction. It could have been so much more. Damn :(
