Whacking Permalink Archive 19-11-02 The Totalitarian Hypocrisy of The Green Left The barking mad tree-pixies at The Green Left are very good at denouncing the horrors of democratically elected governments in countries where the rule of law is in effect. Howard is satan, Bush is Satan, capitalism is satan, we're all having our humanity stripped away, blah, blah, blah. For folks worried about civil rights and the voices of the poor, it's interesting to see that on their links list they happily ally themselves with those defenders of freedom, The Cuban Communist Party. One would have thought the green left would investigate the thousands of instances of Fidel's boys imprisoning and murdering ideologically incorrect folk, or denying the entire population rights to vote, freedom of speech and assembly (not to mention, the ability to leave), but I guess the far-left psychos don't want to be impolite to their nice totalitarian mates. Then again, as I've always said, high-n-mighty socialist principles are generally exercised at the expense of a great many human lives. But they the good guys, right? They're our conscience in this horrible, oppressive capitalist world, right? If there is an afterlife,
these scumbags will be rotting in the same corner of hell as Dr. Joseph
Mengele. Well, to top off what has been the crappiest month of my entire life, it looks like my american expedition across the USA by motorcycle aint gonna happen. Too damned expensive to ship my bike there and even more expensive to rent one. Looks like I'm flying place-to-place (uurrgh). First, recovering in LA for a couple of days from the hop from Melbourne (I don't fly well). A get-together of some chums in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Then visiting a bunch of folks in NYC, then visiting a very close friend in Quebec. It'll still be fun, but dammit, I soooo wanted to travel thru America on a motorbike :( Arrgghh......... Dammit, James
Coburn died today. Couldn't we have killed Pauly Shore and used his
organs to keep Coburn alive for longer? The fellow was just it.
Paddy McGuinness gets stuck into the anti-globalism loons. I couldn't resist this kick-ass passage;
Right on, brother.
Bruce H....er....Tom
Paine has some disturbing,
thought-activating observations on race & the NYC subway.
