1. In-n-Out Burger in California. The absolute best burger chain in America. The shortest menu I’ve ever seen (4 types of burgers, fries, 3 types of milshakes, soda.) The classic double-double (two patties, two slices of cheese, condiments) always.
2. Local Korean owned teryaki place that does a Samoan burger (regular burger with usual condiments with a slice of roasted pineapple and topped with teryaki sauce.)
3. A & W’s double-bacon-cheeseburger. Cheese and bacon and burger, I’ve never seen a better threesome (even on a porn-site).
4. Carl’s Jr has their “six dollar burger” line of burger. Big chunky burgers. I like the Original.
5. My mom’s buffalo burgers. Her local supermarket (Fred Meyers) will have buffalo steak and burger every month or two. She’ll buy both, cook the steaks and freeze the burger. Buffalo burger is thick, dense, and tastes beefier than beef. They take about twice as long to cook on the BBQ and shrink about 1%.
BTW, all of the better burger chains (In-n-Out, Carl’s Jr.) have forced McD’s, B King, et al, to raise their game and some of their burgers aren’t too bad (not great but not too bad).

The foul practice of beetroot on burgers is a stain on this country’s soul
Favorite burgers, for me anyway:
1. In-n-Out Burger in California. The absolute best burger chain in America. The shortest menu I’ve ever seen (4 types of burgers, fries, 3 types of milshakes, soda.) The classic double-double (two patties, two slices of cheese, condiments) always.
